Class Descriptions
YOGA

Come de-stress from the week and prepare for the weekend!
This is a multi level yoga class that will increase flexibility,
core and functional strength, soothe the soul and quiet the
mind. Poses are demonstrated in a progression so
participants from new to experienced feel comfortable in this
class.    

ANUSARA INSPIRED YOGA

Anusara Yoga is an elegant system of alignment principles
that include Muscular Energy and Organic Energy Anusara
inspired yoga Increases postural alignment, and balanced
action. Students of any level of experience or ability are
welcome.

HATHA YOGA

Hatha Yoga is slow-paced and gentle, and can provide a
good introduction to the basic yoga poses.

VINYASA FLO YOGA

Vinyasa, which means breath-synchronized movement, a
more vigorous style based on the performance of a series of
poses called Sun Salutations in which movement is matched
to the breath. A Vinyasa class will typically start with a
number of Sun Salutations to warm up the body for more
intense stretching which is done at the end of class.

AEROBICS & STEP

Step movements involving use of light weights and sculpting
moves Combination class of 20-25 minutes of aerobics
followed by 20-25 minutes of step.

LOW IMPACT AEROBICS

Intermediate-beginner low impact cardio class set to music
some choreography –coordination needed

BODY SCULPTING

If you want to see positive changes in your fitness level,
this is the class to take! This is a multi level class with an
emphasis on building muscular strength and endurance by
utilizing weights, resistance tubing, and body weight against
gravity. This class is designed to raise the heart rate by
transitioning from exercise to exercise without breaks or rest
periods. Modifications to all exercises shown.

ZUMBA

Based on a fusion of Latin and international music this
workout‘s dance routines  combine aerobic fitness interval
training with a variety of fast  and slow rhythms  that
together are designed to tone and sculpt the body, burn fat  
and maximize caloric output   

PILATES

Inspired by Joseph Pilates, this class focuses on
strengthening the core and torso while emphasizing the
breath, postural awareness, imagery and precision of
movement. The fundamental movements in Pilates transfer
over to everyday life to improve function in standing,
walking, sitting as well as other types of fitness. Great for
injury prevention.    

CARDIO SCULPT

This is a cardio and body sculpting class in a circuit/interval
format. Segments of resistance training utilizing weights,
resistance tubing and body weight interspersed with step and
or low impact cardio segments. Add a little plyometrics and
power and you have a full body workout that promises
positive results.
